So, what's our secret to establishing and maintaining jobsites that consistently comply with the most current state, federal, and OSHA safety regulations?

Put simply, we've developed a comprehensive in-house safety program that is specifically designed to protect our employees, our subcontractors, and our customers… and anyone else who may happen to visit the jobsite along the way.

Here's how we do it:

• Rigorous safety training for all LBC employees. Our in-depth New Employee Training Sessions cover the gamut of safety education.
• Safety-focused Construction Project Superintendents. Our jobsite leaders are experts in all things safety, including lockout/tagout, hazard communication, first aid, sanitation, occupational injury, MSDS, pre- and post-drug and alcohol program implementation, and more.
• Internal safety audits. We use a 35-point safety checklist to perform announced and unannounced jobsite checks.
• Third-party safety audits. At LBC, we welcome safety checks by outside inspectors. This ensures consistency and adds an extra layer of assurance.
• Weekly jobsite safety meetings. Open communication is a key part of our safety plan.
• Partnerships with like-minded subcontractors. We expect outside vendors and partners to adopt and enforce safety measures that align with our own.
• Monthly reviews of our safety manual. With routine discussions, we’re able to keep policies and procedures up-to-date.
• Yearly refresher courses. Safety is an ongoing topic of communication at LBC. We require all employees to review in-house safety procedures and industry benchmarks on a regular basis.
